Media System Design
Bob Haroutunian has a storied career in the design and engineering of media hardware systems and has completed hundreds of projects in museums and other special venues in his current position with PPI Consulting.
When he was a Vice President with Jack Morton Productions, Inc., Washington, DC he implemented and managed a new operating division, the Exhibit and Environmental Design Group. The Division is still active in all ten offices nationwide and provides exhibition design and project management services to the JMP worldwide client base. Typical projects include museums, corporate visitor centers, custom marketing environments, theaters, performance centers and trade show exhibits.
In his role as a Vice President with Design and Production, Incorporated, Alexandria, VA, Bob administered and managed various design and construction projects from initial client contact to final project delivery and acceptance. Typical projects included exhibits, management information centers, command and control centers, conference centers, board rooms, and presentation theaters. Responsibilities included the development of performance specifications, scopes of work, schedules, milestone and task assignments, evaluation and inspection criteria, budget parameters and negotiation with subcontractors.
He has held other positions with similar responsibilities with Charles County Community College, La Plata, MD and was the Director of Audio Visual Services for Gloucester County College in Sewell, NJ.
Bob holds a Master of Educational Communications degree from Temple University and is the Founder and Principal of PPI Consulting, Inc., based in Washington, DC.
