Traveling Exhibitions - Global
Through his company, Flying Fish, Jay works with clients across the Science Center, Museum, and private markets worldwide. He has spent time in the trenches of touring exhibitions, helping clients to plan and execute exhibitions around the globe. Possessing significant project management skills, honed through over ten years of construction management experience, he focuses on delivering projects for clients that exceed expectations.
Prior to founding Flying Fish, Jay worked on the supplier side of touring exhibitions as a Senior Exhibition Production Manager. Overseeing two major touring brands, managing several touring exhibitions under each banner, he gained valuable knowledge and experience operating in global cities, leading highly productive teams where English was a second, and sometimes third, language. In this role he was responsible for working with exhibition hosts on everything from exhibition sales to planning and executing marketing, logistics, operations and production both remotely and onsite.
Using this significant supplier-side industry experience, Jay now consults with clients on everything from program planning to overall touring program management, strategic planning to international tour design and implementation. Jay has worked with clients in over forty cities across six continents.
Hailed as a “fantastic weapon in my organization’s arsenal, he is truly the shot in the arm the exhibition industry so desperately needs”. Jay is a true professional who works tirelessly to over-deliver, using best-in-class knowledge and expertise to produce industry-leading outcomes for his clients.
He possesses in-depth knowledge in all facets of touring exhibitions, gained through significant industry experience and more hours in flight than he cares to remember.
Jay is Managing Director, Consultancy & Global Projects at Flying Fish, based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula just outside Melbourne, Australia with a U.S. office in Dearborn, U.S.A.
