Building Museums: Budgets, Estimates, and Bids

During this webinar, Praxis member and Cost Estimator, Tom Gille explores the differences and similarities in budgets, estimates, and bids when planning museum projects. He focuses on these three very important planning elements as they occur in and contribute to the design and fabrication process. In addition, he discusses what each element can and cannot provide, how they can and should be used, and how they should not be used, as well as a brief examination of how the ongoing pandemic might affect upcoming projects and their budgets. Q&A session follows the presentation.
